Connect Porkbun

This guide walks you through connecting your Porkbun account to Domain Pilot so you can manage all your Porkbun domains from a single dashboard.

Step 1: Generate API Credentials

1. Log in to your Porkbun account
2. Navigate to Account Settings → API Access
3. Generate a new API Key and Secret API Key
4. Copy both values and save them securely

Step 2: Enable API Access Per Domain

Porkbun requires you to enable API access individually for each domain you want to manage.

1. Go to Domain Management
2. For each domain, click the API Access toggle to enable it

Step 3: Connect in Domain Pilot

1. Log in to Domain Pilot
2. Go to Settings → Registrars
3. Click Add Registrar and select Porkbun
4. Enter your API Key and Secret API Key
5. Click Connect

Verifying the Connection

Once connected, Domain Pilot will automatically sync your domains. This usually takes a few seconds. You should see all your Porkbun domains (with API access enabled) appear in the Domains section.

Troubleshooting

"Invalid Credentials" Error

• Ensure both the API key and secret API key are correct
• Check that the keys have not been revoked or regenerated
• Try generating new API credentials if the issue persists

Only Some Domains Appearing

• Porkbun requires API access to be enabled per domain
• Check that API access is toggled on for the missing domains

Domains Not Appearing

• Allow a few minutes for the initial sync to complete
• Verify your API credentials have the correct permissions
