Uptime, measured from six regions.

Checks every 30 seconds to 15 minutes, depending on your plan, from Frankfurt, Singapore, Sydney, Dallas, São Paulo and Johannesburg. An outage only counts when a second region agrees.

Checks that match how your site works.

A homepage that answers 200 can still be broken. Check the endpoint, the method and the response that actually matter.

  • Any method, any path

GET, POST, PUT, HEAD or DELETE, over HTTPS or HTTP, against the apex, a subdomain or a specific path.

  • Status codes you expect

Any 2xx counts as up by default. Set your own list when an endpoint should answer differently.

  • The response, not just the status

Require text in the response body, case-sensitive or not, and the response headers you expect.

  • Real requests

Send custom headers and a raw, JSON or form body, so health endpoints and APIs are checked the way they’re used.

  • Timeouts and redirects

A timeout from 1 to 60 seconds, and redirects followed, expected, or treated as a failure.

  • Tested before you save

Run Check & See Result sends the request once and shows you what came back.

Loud when it matters. Quiet when it doesn’t.

A site that keeps dropping and recovering switches to one hourly digest instead of an alert for every blip. Long outages are checked less often, then paused, and parking pages are spotted and set aside.

Uptime monitoring, answered.

How often are my sites checked?

Every 15 minutes on Free, every 5 minutes on Starter, every minute on Plus and every 30 seconds on Pro. Each domain is checked on its plan’s interval.

Where are checks run from?

Six regions: Frankfurt for Europe, Singapore for Asia, Sydney for Australia, Dallas for North America, São Paulo for South America and Johannesburg for Africa.

How do you avoid false alarms?

A failure in one region isn’t enough. An alert goes out only when a second region confirms the outage within five minutes, and a newly added domain that has never answered doesn’t raise one.

What happens during a long outage?

Checking slows down the longer a site is down: every 10 minutes after an hour, 15 after two and 30 after four. Monitoring pauses after 24 hours down, with an email, and stops after seven days until you resume it.

Do I get status pages?

Yes. Each domain can have a public status page with 90 days of uptime and its incident history, on your own domain through a CNAME. Removing the Domain Pilot branding is available on Starter and up.
