Email hosting
Every change, shown before it’s made.
DNS mistakes take email and websites down. Templates are built so you can see, check and reverse every one.
Records added, removed and kept
The preview lists every record set the template touches, with what goes, what arrives and what stays.
SPF is merged, never overwritten
Switching email provider replaces your MX records, but your SPF record keeps its other senders and gains the new one.
Blank values are skipped, not guessed
DKIM keys and verification tokens are optional. Leave one blank and that record is skipped, so nothing half-set is published.
Applied against the live zone
Changes are written at the provider that hosts the domain’s DNS, after re-reading what’s there now.
Checked on public DNS
After a run, each record is looked up on Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) and Google (8.8.8.8) resolvers until it shows as live.
Undo puts it all back
Every run keeps the records as they were before it, so one click restores them.
17 templates, built in.
The services most domains end up needing, with the records each one documents. Search them by name in the app, or filter by what you’re setting up.

DNS templates, answered.
Which DNS providers do templates work with?
Templates write through whichever connection hosts the domain’s DNS: your registrar, or a DNS provider such as Cloudflare if you’ve connected it. If DNS is hosted somewhere that isn’t connected, Domain Pilot tells you which provider it is so you can connect it.
Will a template overwrite my existing records?
Only the records it owns. Email hosting templates replace your MX records, website templates replace the A and AAAA records on the apex and www, and SPF is always merged rather than replaced. You see the exact changes before anything is written.
Can I undo a template?
Yes. Each run stores the records as they were before it, and Undo restores them at your DNS provider.
What about DKIM keys and verification tokens?
Templates ask for them as optional values. Fill them in to publish those records, or leave them blank and those records are skipped. That keeps a bulk run moving when a key is only ready for some domains.
How many domains can I apply a template to at once?
Up to 200 in one run. Each domain gets its own result, so one failure doesn’t stop the rest, and each can be undone on its own.
Can I make my own templates?
Yes. Save the records of any domain as a template, choose which records to include, and apply it like a built-in one.
